Social Media Manager

Job Summary

We are looking for a bright digital star with the willingness to learn about SOCIAL and digital advertising. This is one of the fastest and most exciting mediums in advertising and a very big growth area for the advertising industry as a whole globally. Edge360 is based in London, United Kingdom and we’ve recently opened an office in India and searching for stars to manage and work with our APAC team.

Job Purpose:

Works closely with media director to create engaging content for clients including keeping social media channels updated and brand-focused, and seeking out new social media avenues and ways of connecting with audiences.

• Manages client social media pages, including Facebook, Instagram, Pintrest, Youtube Twitter, and other relevant platforms
• Creates dynamic written, graphics along with cool video content
• Optimising and monitoring content following search engine optimization (SEO) and pay-per-click (PPC)
• Creates content that promotes audience interaction, increases audience presence on client’s sites, and encourages audience participation
• Assists social media management with large projects, events, festivals and community management
• Analyses and reports audience information and demographics, and success of existing social media campaigns
• Proposes new ideas and concepts for social media campaigns
• Works with marketing and social media team to coordinate campaigns with social media strategy
• Work with Media Director to writes and distribute e-newsletters to subscribers
• Manages social media communications with Audience
• Uses timelines and scheduled content to create an ongoing stream of new content for audience interaction while analysing, managing, and altering schedules where necessary to optimise visits

Who we are looking for:

Marketing or Social Media Marketing Degree

Technology Skills

Content Writing

Graphic Design preferably

Knowledge of Social media platforms

SEO and PPC,

Strong Customer-Service Skills,

A Self-starter,

Proactive and detail-oriented

A good storyteller

Ability to manage multiple accounts

A leader and a good ”closer”
